DevOps Engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and monitoring
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS services
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes
• Design and implement automation tools and frameworks for infrastructure as code
• Manage and monitor the system and application health performance and security
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize code releases and application deployments
• Ensure high availability and uptime for production systems through monitoring and alerting
• Implement and maintain network configurations VPNs and security groups
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment
• Conduct regular system and security audits with a focus on automation and scripting

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in a DevOps or similar role
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Shell or PowerShell
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms particularly AWS
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols
• Expertise in CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins or GitLab
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues under pressure
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus ELK or Splunk
• Strong focus on security best practices and compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator is a plus
