Product Designer - Qatar Airways

About the role

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing Digital Enablement team.

As a Product Designer you will be responsible for creating user flows customer journey maps wireframes mockups and prototypes based on user research and customer feedback. You will also handle design of the overall product functionality on Qatar Airways mobile app and website ensuring a smooth frictionless user experience while iterating on designs based on usertesting.

As part of your daily responsibilities you will also:

• Facilitate business vision by researching conceiving sketching prototyping and testing experiences for digital products.
• Design and deliver wireframes user stories user journeys and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Identify design problems and friction points and devise solutions while taking into consideration technical recommendations for frontend and backend developments. Take a usercentered design approach to design and make datadriven decisions related to core and new features present these decisions to different stakeholders when required.
• Participate in ideation and conceptual development of new products and features within an interdisciplinary team that includes creative and market leads product managers and developers.
• Collaborate with the user research and testing teams to develop tests to measure the success of new developments with quantifiable metrics and understand user behavior.
• Work closely with UX Leads in IT to bring synergies and standardize tools and solutions across the company.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate concepts and requirements into user flows wireframes mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Perform other department duties related to their position as directed by the Head of the Department.

• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of jobrelated experience
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent without prior experience for

  Qatari nationals

• Demonstrated experience in UX Design Interaction Design or Product Design
• Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch OmniGraffle Axure In Vision UXPin Balsamiq Framer and the like is a must.
• A portfolio of work demonstrating compelling design solutions for endtoend experiences.
• Ability to work extensively with crossfunctional teams.

• Experience working with Web Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics.
• Basic HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript skills.
