Job Description
Job Title: Senior Demand & Supply Operations West Gulf
Location: Saudia Arabia Riyadh
About the role:
Demand & Supply Operations will support UMEA Supply Chain Head in managing the supply chain systems processes and implement initiative for process improvements for West Gulf (KSA Qatar Oman & Bahrain)
The incumbent(s) will manage supply chain planning in connection with the sites countries and customers (ie: distributors) drive & support local standardization & harmonization in order to achieve vision of endtoend integrated supply chain
The incumbent(s) will maintain supply of Takeda products manage the 3PL/4PL activities provide customer service for these products. This incumbent will also be responsible for managing the supply chain launch of new products in West Gulf
The incumbent(s) will be responsible for assuring all relevant supply chain systems are appropriately maintained and improved including managing demand forecasting supply of product to the markets recalls management of customers customer complaints order processing inventory management & reconciliation and day to day management of 3PL & 4PL customs agents
The role requires frequent interaction with EAMEA leadership finance supply regulatory quality and commercial teams across the Area & GMS
How you will contribute:
Demand Planning:
- Lead & accountable for the monthly demand planning meeting with key stakeholders for shortterm and longterm demand planning for Takeda products
- Consolidate and review a rolling 36 month forecast (is a MUST for Takeda portfolio in the ERP for both private and tender business in the relevant markets)
- Proactively working on the conversion of the IMS to TMS based on the approved forecast finalized in the monthly demand review meetings as well monthly stock status
Supply Planning:
- Lead & accountable for the monthly Supply planning meeting with the plants.
- Working closely with the plants to secure supply timelines needed within the West Gulf LOC in order to be in line with the sales and inventory targets
- Proactively manage/highlight the supply issues in order to make sure that markets are not out of stock which could impact the patient needs
- Work proactively with commercial and finance in order to mitigate risks of having distress inventory at plant/hub level
Order/Stock Management:
- Hands on Stock management at RDC and distributor level.
- Monthly distributors inventory assessment to support with the replenishment process & slowmoving stock
- Preparing and Submitting Proforma Invoices against quotation requests received directly from accounts or through the commercial team
- Assessing and processing received distributors purchase orders into the system generate Order Confirmation and send it to customer as acknowledgment of order receipt and processing
- Management of pricing in the system
- Ensure Master Data file is up to date
Customer Service
- Operate ordertocash processes for customers
- Manage the relevant master data
- Process orders
- Answer claims and handle returns
- Ensures the compliance of the order processed with the global trade regulation in place (sanction lists embargo import/export restrictions)
- Participate in the application of the customer service strategy for the assigned region in the alignment with the local / regional commercial team and act as primary point of contact between customers commercial and the Takeda Supply Chain
Product Change Management:
New Launches
- Responsible for new product launches to be accurately reflected in the ERP system at least 12 months prior to the expected launch date based on regulatory timelines (Making Sure the Approved COLS are in place and shared with Launch project manager)
- Supporting Commercial & Regulatory & Business Operations with information needed for finalizing the launch requirements
Site changes
- Work with Regulatory/Commercial to make sure there is a smooth transition from one site to another without risking markets facing an outofstock situation.
Invoicing Entity changes
- Make sure there is a smooth transition from one entity to another after alignment with Legal Commercial & Regulatory on the timelines of finalizing new distributor agreements and assessing the supply flow and impact on markets
Unregistered product supply (IRUP)
- Make sure unregistered product supply is done fully in compliance with Takeda Patient Access SOPs

- Hands on experience in SAP PRD IBP MDG.
- Proactively setting up Supply Chain Flows to support changes in GDL.

Education Behavioral Competencies And Skills:
- University degree in Business Supply Chain or equivalent
- Minimum of 58 years of progressive experience in various supply chain management roles within the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industries
- Previous experience in Middle East and Africa countries is a MUST
- Previous experience in SAP Suppy Chain modules is a must
- Fluency in written/Spoken English is a must written/spoken Arabic & French languages are desirable
