Data Modeler with Snowflake

Job Title: Data Modeler with Snowflake Experience
Location: New York NY (Onsite)
Duration: 36 Months (With Possible Extension)

New Capgemini Onboarding Process Updates:
Due to additional onboarding requirements a meet and greet is required for all new hires.
Selected candidates must be willing to go to the closest Capgemini/Client office location as indicated by the project team to meet and greet with a Capgemini team member prior to starting their assignment.
If the candidate is not local Capgemini will pay the expenses.


Job Description:
Design and develop data models in Snowflake to support the tax system consolidation project.
Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into data models.
Ensure data models are optimized for performance scalability and maintainability.
Develop and maintain documentation for data models and data flows.
Provide guidance and support to the development team on data modeling best practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data modeling with at least 2 years of experience with Snowflake.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and techniques.
Experience with SQL and other data manipulation languages.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
