Lead ICT Engineer

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Review of Contractors ELV ICT Automation and Security systems design documentation.
• Provide tactical and strategic input on overall ELV / ICT systems to the Client.
• Review and validate Active networking High level & Lowlevel design documentation.
• Validation of design consultant comments on contractor material approval submittals and shop drawings.
• Respond to Contractor request for information and queries.
• Review and approval of systems installation/ methodology documentation.
• Review and approval of systems inspection test procedures Material inspection request site installation mockups.
• Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to immediate management.
• Lead and/or attend meetings.
• Prepare minutes of meeting.
• Prepare correspondence letters to Client and Contractors.
• Diligent follow up of actions proactive approach.
• Report to management of daily/monthly progress on tasks undertaken.
• Plan ELV / ICT services full sequential commissioning monitoring the availability of commissioning and startup resources and spare parts from the Contractor and Sub Contractors.
• Prepare ELV / ICT services check/punch list of activities remedial works corrective works snagging items clashes and alterations during the completion stage and ensure the items on the list are progressively cleared by the contractor and other relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare security systems presentations.
• Prepare letter responses progress reporting attend meetings perform site surveys.
• Perform Site surveys to ensure design is followed in frequent intervals during contraction face.
• Prepare develop project documentation as request.
• Provide input to develop strategies.
• Ad hoc requests for immediate responses from Client and Hill management.

Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:

• Degree required in Electrical engineering Mechanical or Telecommunications or Computer Science
• Years experience required: above 15 years.
• Specialist project experience required: at least 5 years design and installation.
• Handson experience on Structured cabling / Fiber Optic / Ethernet cabling infrastructure Active Networking topologies / TCP/IP switching & routing WiFi networking Electronic Physical Security system deployment AudioVisual system VOIPTelephone System GRMS Guest Room Management System LCS Lighting Control System.
• Membership / accreditation etc. required: UPDA approved will be a plus PMP or Prince 2 membership.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Excellent command of the English Language.
