Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Civil Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
. Designing and overseeing the construction of civil engineering projects
. Conducting structural analysis and calculations
. Collaborating with architects engineers and other team members
. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
. Reviewing and approving project designs and plans
. Providing technical guidance and support to junior staff
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
5 years of experience in civil structural design
Proficiency in structural design software
Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models, Piping Isometrics, GA drawings, and Piping Layouts. In-depth knowledge of Piping BOM, MTO, and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
