Logistics Coordinator - BEC Arabia

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree a Certificate in Supply Chain or an equivalent qualification.

7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.

Very good command of spoken and written English.

Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook etc.).

Good knowledge of operating heavy equipment.

Possess leadership skills to effectively lead teams.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another.

Arrange transportation schedule staff and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with minimal delay.

Receive products and coordinate their delivery.

Prepare loads for shipment.

Take steps to avoid quality control issues.

Ensure warehouse capacity is maintained at optimal levels.

Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to meet established deadlines.

Oversee the inventory of goods and vehicles.

Continuously review freight costs transportation rates and raw material prices to minimize expenses.

Streamline shipping and transportation processes.

Manage heavy equipment and ensure its proper operation.

Oversee material and manpower supply to the site.

Ensure security at storage facilities and sites.

Handle rental equipment contracts.

Manage accommodation arrangements for staff and laborers.

Oversee contracts related to raw materials.
