Job Title: Community Association Attorney
We are an executive search firm retained by an established and wellrespected boutique law firm based in Palm Beach County to assist in their search for a talented Community Association Attorney. This firm has built a strong reputation for providing toptier legal services in the areas of real estate and community association law and they are seeking a skilled attorney to join their team. This is an onsite position only.
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in Florida in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in community association law
- Strong expertise in interpreting governing documents providing governance advice preparing amendments and addressing fair housing issues
- Indepth knowledge of community association law real estate law and related fields
- Exceptional communication negotiation and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines effectively
- Experience in delivering specialized training to board directors committees and managers
Responsibilities:
- Handle complex commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions purchases financing and leasing
- Assist in forming registering governing and ensuring compliance for residential commercial and mixeduse condominium associations
- Provide expert guidance on community association law ensuring compliance with legal requirements and successful project completions
- Represent developers lenders landlords and community associations in a variety of legal matters
- Review analyze negotiate and draft legal documents including agreements deeds loan documents leases declarations and covenants
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of transactions ensuring timely closings and project milestones are met
- Provide guidance on interpreting governing documents governance issues and fair housing compliance
- Conduct training sessions for boards of directors committees and community managers
- Participate actively in community association and industry organizations
- Contribute articles to industry publications and engage in relevant chapter events
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar license
- Strong knowledge and experience in community association law and real estate
