A Sales Manager securesleads analyses local market trends and competitor activity torecommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in themarketplace through the development of future and repeat business.
What will I bedoing
As Sales Manager you willcontribute towards the Hotels commercial goals; analyzing markettrends and competition to execute strategies that support the hotelto lead the marketplace. Specifically you will be responsible forperforming the following tasks to the higheststandards:
• Work within currentbusiness strategies recognising potential opportunities andcontributing towards the total Hotels businessgoals
• Develop customer accounts and travelwithin the local area to drive business into the specifichotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenuestreams
• Negotiate room rates/packages withcorporate clients
• Analysis local market trendsand competitor activity to identify businessleads
• Develop and implement creative localmarketing channels including social mediachannels
• Prepare company contracts for thehotel in accordance with current business and pricingconditions
• Cooperate with other departments inthe hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and buildstrong comprehensive sales programs
• AttendSales events as required
• Produce accurate andtimely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and seniormanagement to include the reporting of appointments calls made andbusiness leads
• Answer customer queries in aprompt and professionalmanner
