Role Summary
Exciting opportunity for creative talented dynamic and enthusiastic candidates to fill the role of Technical Sales Representative (Pastry/Culinary/Beverage Specialist) under the Sales department. This opportunity is best suited for energetic and ambitious candidates who want to be part of a global organization. You will have a passion for the food industry and experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma Bachelors Degree in Culinary Arts/Food & Beverage Management/or related field.
- Fresh Graduate or 3 years of work experience in a similar field or background.
- Experience as a Pastry chef/Cook/Culinary chef/Barista in the Hotel Foodservice or Food Specialist industry will be an advantage.
- Required skills: Sales Baking Pastry Cake decoration Culinary art Cooking Latte art Barista Hospitality Technical Sales Food Specialist Food Demonstration Technical Advisor.
- Staff position (nonmanagement & nonsupervisor) specializing in Hotel or Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or similar.
- Own a personal vehicle.
Sales Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets.
- Identify prioritize and execute against accounts/prospects articulated in the sales plan.
- Understand customer needs and create valueadded product solutions.
- Sales management including distributors wholesalers brokers and enduser management.
- Adapt product usage and solutions to grow account volume and profitability.
- Use solution selling to expand product mix and volume.
- Develop and expand new customer base.
- Leverage relationships and coworker knowledge to identify and secure new accounts to achieve overall new business targets and goals.
- Assist with product launches.
- Demonstrate product use and applications (recipes ingredient mixes decoration etc.).
- Conduct promotional activities to boost sales volume.
- Address customer problems with empathy.
- Handle customer complaints and issues.
- Help coordinate relationships between distributors & wholesalers/outlets.
