WSP Middle East is looking for a Planning Engineer to join an ongoing project in Qatar. The duration of the initial assignment is 4 months, this may be extended.
Your new role, what's involved?
• Coordinating with the Client and Contractors regarding planning and progress issues.
• Establish and maintain a full working knowledge of the project or specified area scope of work.
• Tracking & Monitoring the Project Progress, Cost & Resources.
• Check Contractors Program and Ensure all required data and information has been submitted as per the Client's requirements.
• Check contractors weekly and monthly reports for authenticity and ensure all information submitted as per the Client's requirements.
• Foresee possible delays on site and advise contractor and other parties to mitigate the same.

Ensure programs are structured, followed on site and check variances.

Document all the variations and check their impact on project progress.

Foresee possible claims from contractors and prepare evidences to defend the same.
