We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team where you will play a key role in automating scaling and enhancing our software development and deployment processes.
Job Summary: As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that enable continuous integration continuous delivery and automation across our development and operations teams. You will work closely with software engineers system administrators and other stakeholders to ensure the reliability security and scalability of our applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
- Manage and optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of code changes into production environments.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Automate routine tasks such as server provisioning application deployment and system monitoring.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud ensuring costeffective and scalable solutions.
- Implement and maintain security best practices across the development and deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance security and infrastructure.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate automated testing and code quality checks into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Continuously improve and evolve DevOps processes tools and practices to enhance team productivity and product quality.
- Create and maintain documentation related to infrastructure deployment processes and system configurations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a DevOps or related role with a strong background in software development and system administration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI or Travis CI.
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Handson experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and their associated services.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Splunk.
- Strong understanding of networking security and system architecture principles.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices architecture and its deployment in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems particularly Git and best practices in branching and merging.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Docker Certified Associate Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
- Experience with serverless architectures and functions as a service (FaaS).
