Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in Vancouver WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Health and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within the facility. This leadership role requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for patient care and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the nursing department ensuring the delivery of highquality patientcentered care.
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing staff including staffing scheduling and resource allocation.
- Develop implement and monitor nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration and coordination of patient care services.
- Lead and mentor the nursing team providing guidance support and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as accreditation standards.
- Participate in the development and management of the nursing departments budget ensuring the efficient use of resources.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment promoting teamwork and open communication among staff.
- Serve as a liaison between the nursing staff and hospital administration advocating for the needs and concerns of the nursing department.
MustHaves:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Licensure: Current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State Board of Nursing.
- Experience: Prior experience in Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Health nursing.

- Leadership Experience: Prior leadership experience in Inpatient Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Health settings.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team of nursing professionals.
