Job Overview: Your Career at a Glance
Join our client s team as an Accountant where youll take the lead in preparing and analyzing financial statements managing accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role is more than a job; it s a strategic career move that lets you thrive professionally while keeping your personal life in perfect harmony.
Shift: Monday to Friday TBD (9 to 6 10 to 7)
Work Setup: Onsite in Bogota/Medellin
Crunching the Numbers: What You ll Do
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records.
- Perform monthend and yearend close processes.
- Reconcile accounts including bank statements and ledger entries.
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
Tech Stack:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Time
- Knowledge of basic payroll taxes in the United States
- Bilingual in Spanish and English with a high level of English proficiency
- Advanced skills in Excel and all Microsoftbased products
- Familiarity with Asana Slack and Google Drive
- Experience in the construction industry and AIA Billing (strongly desired)
- Willingness to assist with insurance audits (training provided)
Preferred:
- CPA certification
- Experience in managing teams (for future growth)
