At Qdrant we help businesses take advantage of modern AI technologies. We are developing neural search solutions that allow everyone to use stateoftheart neural network encoders at the production scale. At the same time we help companies to integrate our technology into their infrastructure. Our flagship product is the opensource Vector Database:
Among the technical challenges we are facing is the implementation of our cloud infrastructure to serve our engine as a scalable cloud API solution. We are looking for a Growth Engineer to make our solutions even more attractive for the developers.
Tasks
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on our Growth team you will be primarily responsible for developing and optimising userfacing features that directly contribute to growth. While this role includes fullstack responsibilities our focus is on your frontend expertise particularly in UX/UI design and working with Figma. Experience with backend development in Python and data analysis including SQL is nice to have but not essential. We are looking for someone who understands growth metrics A/B testing and prioritises a usercentric approach to development.
MustHave:
Frontend Development:
- Lead the development of intuitive responsive and highperforming user interfaces using modern web technologies (JavaScript React TypeScript HTML CSS).
- Ensure that UX/UI considerations are central to all frontend development efforts.
UX/UI Expertise:
- Collaborate with designers and Product Managers to translate Figma prototypes and design components into productionready code.
- Focus on creating seamless engaging user experiences that align with product and growth goals.
Growth Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Growth Product and Data teams to implement features that drive key growth metrics.
- Actively participate in discussions about growth strategies A/B testing and user engagement.
A/B Testing & Experimentation:
- Implement and analyse A/B tests to optimise user experience and improve conversion rates.
- Use insights from these tests to inform and guide development decisions.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration:
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams including Product Managers Designers Data Analysts and Marketers to ensure alignment of development work with business goals.
- UserCentric Development:
- Maintain a deep understanding of our users and ensure that all development work enhances the overall user journey and meets user needs.
NicetoHave:
Backend Development:
- Experience with backend development particularly in Python.
- Ability to contribute to backend tasks related to growth initiatives when needed.
Data Analysis & SQL:
- Basic comfort and familiarity with data analysis and SQL is beneficial. While we are not seeking extensive expertise in this area a willingness and interest to learn and grow in data analysis is essential.
- Ability to leverage data insights to inform frontend development decisions.
- Familiarity with growth analytics tools and methodologies.
Requirements
MustHave:
- 5 years of experience in fullstack development with a strong emphasis on frontend technologies (JavaScript React HTML CSS).
- Proven expertise in UX/UI design and development including experience with Figma.
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks and a good understanding of growth metrics.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams.
- Usercentric approach to problemsolving and development.
- Exposure to growth topics: Understanding of how product changes impact growth metrics user acquisition retention and engagement.
NicetoHave:
- Backend development experience particularly with Python.
- Experience with data analysis and proficiency in SQL to support datadriven decisions in frontend development.
