Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Assistant to join our team in Philadelphia PA. The Social Media Assistant will support the social media team in creating and curating content managing social media accounts and engaging with our online community.
Salary range:
$19.50 to $30.25 hourly
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to comments messages and interactions in a timely manner.
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all social media channels.
- Conduct research on industry trends competitor activities and audience preferences.
- Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing graphics and videos.
- Assist in the planning and execution of social media contests giveaways and promotions.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and prepare reports.
- Support the social media team in managing paid social media campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their features.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite Buffer).
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
