ABOUT THE ROLE
ProfessionLX specializes in professional services where we engage our employees to empower them to excel for our customers. We are currently seeking parttime Protestant Religious Education Coordinator candidates to join our team in support of the US Air Force in Mountain Home ID. This position will serve as a Chaplain Corps special resource person who provides program or support functions for the implementation of a Protestant RE and Sacramental Preparation requirements for the Protestant community. Successful candidates will possess one year relevant experience to include recruiting/managing/scheduling volunteers event planning/execution training volunteers scheduling/preparing sacramental requirementsmaintain certifications for teaching RE curriculum and maintain RE curriculum/social media advertisement.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Establish coordinate and administer the Protestant parish ministry by establishing schedules and volunteer rosters for the following parish organizations/programs:Religious education Program Protestant Youth Organization Protestant Young AdultOrganizations Scripture readers Ushers Protestant Women s and Men s studies Prayer ChainProgram Protestant library materials Protestant social programs (humanitarian impact programs) Ecumenical programs Volunteer program Vacation Bible School and ProtestantFellowship Programs.
- Attend the monthly Protestant Advisory Council meetings to provide a monthly RE program report at the council meetings.
- Prepare RE correspondence budget requests weekly bulletinsProgram notifications training workshops all meeting agendas RE weekly curriculum and resources appreciation certificates for volunteers and sacramental services.
- Administer a weekly RE program to include but not limited toWednesday evenings and Sunday mornings for pre kindergarten through adult. Sunday morning responsibilities include children s worship service programming during all Protestant services and programs.
- Manage volunteer program including recruiting training initiating background checks and maintaining volunteer rosters.
- Develop annual RE program schedule to include events advertising funds requests facility and space usage requests.
- Provide required reports such as After Action Reports Weekly Activity Reports Annual Budgets Annual Survey etc.
Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Minimum of one (1) years experience working as a Protestant REcoordinator or equivalent.
- Experience in recruiting/managing/scheduling volunteers event planning/execution training volunteers scheduling/preparing sacramental requirements.
- Experience in creating and maintaining RE curriculum/social media advertisement.
- Experience with common Microsoft products such as Word Excel and PowerPoint.
