Overview
The role of a General Anesthesiologist at our Mira Road location is crucial to ensuring the safe administration of anesthesia and optimal patient care during surgical procedures. As a General Anesthesiologist you will play a key role in evaluating patients developing anesthesia care plans and monitoring patients vital signs throughout surgery.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients to determine anesthetic needs
- Developing and implementing an anesthesia care plan
- Administering general anesthesia during surgical procedures
- Monitoring and maintaining patients vital signs
- Responding to emergency situations and adverse reactions
- Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure patient safety
- Providing postanesthesia care and pain management
- Documenting anesthesia care and patient progress
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Participating in oncall rotation for anesthesia coverage
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification in Anesthesiology
- Valid state medical license
- Fellowship training in General Anesthesia
- Proven experience in administering general anesthesia in surgical settings
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in highpressure environments
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong problemsolving and critical thinking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Willingness to participate in oncall rotation
