Job Description:

Azurreo is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Junior Remote Procurement Associate to join our team. This is a fulltime remote position ideal for a professional with 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement. The position requires availability for 8 hours a day 5 days a week from Monday to Friday. Applicants must be based in Lebanon.

Position Overview:

As a Junior Remote Procurement Associate you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement operations. You will be responsible for managing the acquisition of goods and services necessary for our operations ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with suppliers negotiate contracts and forecast future procurement needs. This role demands strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote work environment.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquisition Management: Oversee the acquisition of goods and services essential for operations.
• Customer Needs: Understand customer needs and service requirements to ensure procurement aligns with company objectives.
• Forecasting: Forecast future procurement needs and ensure supplier availability.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts including rates and compensations with suppliers.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

• University degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Procurement or a related field.

Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a procurement or related role.

Languages:

• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Arabic or other languages is an asset.

Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office suite especially Excel.
• Experienced in using procurement software and ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
• Solutionoriented approach.
• High sense of responsibility.
