Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work adheres to safe work practices including lockout/tagout procedures.
- Foster a strong teamwork environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Communicate effectively with operators mechanics engineers supervisors and plant leadership.
- Assemble install test and maintain electrical/electronic wiring equipment apparatus and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools.
- Connect to PLCs read basic ladder logic and perform basic PLC programming.
- Backup and manage machine software.
- Follow detailed written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits and read electrical schematics/blueprints.
- Work under pressure to diagnose and resolve problems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and complete necessary work orders.
- Maintain thorough documentation of work performed including changes to parameters circuits components configurations or orientations for future reference.
- Complete paperwork and computer work as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in testing maintaining calibrating programming and troubleshooting instrumentation and control system components using appropriate test equipment schematics vendor manuals and procedures.
- Experienced in troubleshooting and basic programming on a variety of PLC/HMI platforms (AllenBradley Redlion Unitronics Omron preferred).
- Skilled in VFD/Servo setup and basic operations.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Windows.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and utilize PC and PLC for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AC/DC voltages ranging from 5 to 480 volts.
- Knowledgeable in electrical wiring per the National Electric Code.
- Experienced in instrumentation motor and process controls (pneumatic and hydraulic systems).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Ability to work extended hours and mandatory overtime as needed including alternating weekends.
- Capable of working in wet/damp environments with varying temperatures from hot to cold.
- Able to perform physical activities including lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted) bending standing climbing or walking.
