Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Bid Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of bidding processes related to commercial new construction and remodeling/renovations. This role requires performing site visits documenting existing conditions and establishing preliminary construction schedules. The successful candidate will coordinate bid processes attend prebid meetings and analyze proposals for scope and pricing. A professional appearance positive attitude and exceptional work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits and document existing conditions
• Establish preliminary construction schedules and durations
• Coordinate bid processes and attend prebid meetings
• Analyze proposals/bids for scope of work and secure pricing
• Maintain a professional appearance positive attitude and exceptional work ethic

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong prioritization skills
• Ability to work calmly within deadlines and under pressure
• Selfstarter capable of performing independently and as a team member
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives risk implications and costs

• Based out of Laurel
• No direct reports; works for the Director of Construction

Experience:

• Knowledge of bidding related to commercial new construction and remodeling/renovations
