Civil Engineer - Municipal Infrastructure

Platinum Global Talent Solutions is delighted to be recruiting for a highly skilled Civil Engineer specializing in Municipal Infrastructure projects for our client.

In this role you will oversee the planning design and management of essential infrastructure projects such as roads water systems and public facilities. You will lead and coordinate project teams ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient project execution.

As a representative of our client you will engage with municipal officials at public meetings to align project goals with community objectives and regulatory requirements.

Your role will also involve cultivating and maintaining client relationships through proactive and responsive communication. Additionally you will oversee plan reviews and construction activities to ensure compliance with stringent municipal standards and approvals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct the planning design and execution of municipal infrastructure projects.
• Manage and mentor project teams from junior engineers to CADD technicians fostering teamwork and professional growth.
• Serve as the primary liaison with municipal stakeholders advocating project objectives and ensuring alignment with community goals.
• Foster and sustain client relationships by delivering exceptional service and proactive communication throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure adherence to municipal standards and regulatory approvals by conducting thorough plan reviews and overseeing construction activities.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in client relations demonstrating strong capabilities in business development and client management.
• Ability to obtain PA Act 34 114 and 151 clearances showcasing compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Civil Engineer with a minimum of seven years of experience in successfully managing municipal infrastructure projects (Possession of a PA PE license preferred).
• Flexibility to attend evening meetings as necessary to accommodate project and client needs.
• Possession of a valid drivers license to facilitate site visits and client interactions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D software for effective project design and documentation.
