DEPUTY MANAGER

Deputy Manager Georgia Park Care Home

We are looking for an experienced and organized Deputy Manager to join our team at Georgia Park Care Home. The Deputy Manager will provide leadership and support to our staff in order to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities:

• Providing daytoday management and oversight of the nursing home operations
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws regulations policies procedures and codes of practice
• Managing staff schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained
• Developing strategies to improve operational performance and efficiency
• Monitoring budgets and controlling costs where appropriate
• Leading by example with a positive attitude towards residents visitors staff members families vendors/contractors etc.
• Stepping in as manager when the general manager is off work or unavailable
  
• Able to work with HR to hire and train new staff
  
• Able to develop strategies for new projects set deadlines and create workflows
  
• Can delegate tasks effectively to team members while taking responsibility for the outcome
  
• Helps team members to follow company rules and guidelines
  
• Helps the general manager to make important decisions related to administration projects and management procedures
  
• Keeps records of financial and legal matters
  
• Can summarise team activities in order to keep senior managers informed
