Job Description Key Responsibilities: • Provides 24/7 365 emergency EMS response on the site. • Provide paramedicine pre-hospital support to patients within the site, outside the site, and during transfer to local higher levels of care. • Ambulance operations, EMS response, and the subsequent support of the medical team within the clinic are the primary responsibilities • Assist medical providers with medical procedures and treatments as allowed within the licensed scope of work. • Assessment and documentation of the patient’s vital signs, chief complaint, medical history, and prescribed medications. • Report all changes in the patient’s condition to the medical provider. • Proactively and independently administer basic paramedic-level care within the standing orders and SOPs without exceeding your licensed scope of care., • Assist patients with basic care and activities of daily living, as needed. • Provides support and education to help patients make responsible health decisions • Maintains Area of Responsibility (AOR) supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies • Restocking EMS units once supplies are received as well as assisting other clinic operators with restocking • Cross-train to work within in the clinics, emergency room, and inpatient units. • Other duties as assigned.
