Litigation Associate

We are seeking a motivated and talented Associate Attorney with 13 years of experience to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic qualifications and a strong interest in civil liability defense including products premises transportation and/or construction defense litigation.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis
Draft pleadings motions and discovery
Attend hearings depositions and mediations
Work closely with partners and senior associates on case strategy and preparation
Communicate with clients witnesses and opposing counsel
Manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admitted to the California state bar
13 years of experience in general civil liability construction defect and/or insurance defense
Strong research and writing skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Billable hour requirement of 1900 per year
Potential salary range for 13 year attorney is $100000$130000
Bonus plan based on hours billed
