Production Manager

We are seeking a Bilingual English/Spanish Production Manufacturing Manager to lead a great team! Your hands on leadership will oversee the activities of a team of production workers. Base DOE bonus and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Work on site on the production floor daily MF and intermittent Saturdays as required Collaborate with other management teams to attain goals.
  
• Apply lean manufacturing principles
  
• Lead daily production meetings
  
• Utilize internal computing systems and programs
  
• Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
  
• Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
  
• Place production orders from customers
  
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
  
• Implement productivity and process improvements
  
• Implement and improve training programs
  
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  
• Assess mentor and train staff
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience in hard goods production manufacturing or other related fields utilizing sheet metal Power shears turret presses and other equipment
  
• Must be able to work on site on the production floor daily MF 6am4:30pm and with alternating Saturdays
  
• Demonstrated Production floor engagement and teambuilding skills
  
• Minimum 5 years sheet metal experience with manufacturing/production of products
  
• Minimum 10 years experience in the manufacturing environment overall
  
• Strong knowledge of production tools and equipment
  
• Computer literate with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office Word Excel Powerpoint Teams and other software programs with the ability to pick up new programs with proficiency
  
• Proven experience in implementing processes and procedures to improve training productivity processes and safety
  
• Strong leadership qualities
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Bilingual English/Spanish)
  
• Ability to collaborate and partner with other teams
