- Manage the project s commercial matters related to construction activities and contractual responsibilities.
- Ensure the project s forecasted profit is achieved.
- Prepare monthly valuations of main works in line with site progress.
- Review and record all variations and verbal instructions.
- Review and manage the Bill of Quantities.
- Meet with suppliers and conduct negotiations for materials as needed.
- Address all contractual correspondence.
- Prepare interim valuations of subcontractor works and negotiate the final account.
- Work independently to conduct takeoffs for MEP works using the appropriate tools.
Requirements
- Bachelors or diploma degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a relevant qualification.
- 5 10 years of related experience in commercial and mixeduse projects.
- Previous MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) experience is essential.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts to protect the companys interests.
- Proficiency in conducting takeoffs for MEP works using appropriate tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in fluent English. Arabic is a plus.
- Transferable Iqama is a must.
- Certification such as RICS or MRICS is an added advantage.
