Behaviour Support Worker

We are currently seeking applicants for a Behaviour Support Worker position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application if you are interested.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise and ensure the safety of the children at all times
• Lead structured ageappropriate and developmentally appropriate playbased activities
• Provide extra support for children as needed
• Light housekeeping meal prep medication Administration
• Engagement in social activities

Qualifications and Skills

• Patience and temperament to work with children on various developmental levels
• A valid NonViolence Crisis Intervention Training Certificate is required
• Experience with Autism
• Experience tutoring or helping children with school work is an asset
• Experience working with children in a group home school camp settings
• Experience working with special needs children
• Valid drivers license with a good driving record
• Canada work authorization
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sectors (Within 6 months)
• Clear Child Intervention Record Check(Within 6 months)
• First Aid and CPR level C required
• Reliable Vehicle
• 2 million liability Insurance required

Availability of days evenings and weekends is mandatory.

Job Types: Parttime Casual

Pay: $18.00 per hour
