Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Job Duties:

Providing Behavior Analytic Services to children with Autism ranging in age from birth to 21.

Providing Behavior Analytic Services to adults at the Arc.

Assist in research development and implementation of Behavior Support Plans (BSP)

Regularly visit people served (in day and residential settings) weekly to monitor progression of people served

Train staff in BSP implementation and data collection procedures

Maintain accurate records and data (behavior sleep medication effects)

Assist in evaluation of plan effectiveness (based on data progress notes and graphic representations)

Assist in evaluation of psychiatric medication effectiveness (based on data progress notes and graphic representations)

Train and assist staff in responding to people served in various scenarios and situations

Facilitate communication between residential and day programs; maintain contact with families of people served

Complete documentation as required; complete Behavioral Functional Assessments and additional functional assessments for plan implementation

Assist with psychiatric clinic; provide information and assist psychiatrists as needed

Attend meetings training and inservices as required

Perform related duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:

Masters degree in Psychology or related field

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (or seeking certification)

Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook etc.)

Physical Requirements:

Position requires frequent standing walking hand dexterity reaching with hands and arms climbing or balancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling speaking and listening

Employee is occasionally required to sit

Employee must frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision and depth perception
