Data Scientist

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to large data sets
• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences revenue generation and other business outcomes
• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
• Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
• Build and present insights through data visualization techniques
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to prioritize information needs
• Conduct statistical analysis to make datadriven decisions
• Develop and improve existing algorithms and models
• Keep uptodate with the latest technology and trends in data science
• Communicate results and ideas to key stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for process and product improvements
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists

Required Qualifications:

• Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science Mathematics Statistics Economics or related field
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistics
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R or Java
• Experience with data visualization tools such as D3.js Matplotlib or Tableau
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark or Hive
• Expertise in SQL NoSQL databases and data warehousing
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS Azure or GCP
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain complex analytical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
• Problemsolving aptitude and critical thinking
• Experience working with unstructured data and text mining
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Capability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Experience in datadriven decision making and business strategy development
