Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to join their team. The perfect candidate is a proactive individual with excellent communication skills strong organizational abilities and a positive attitude. Extensive knowledge of construction and trades is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans ensuring all aspects are covered.
• Contract Administration: Effectively manage contracts to ensure compliance and smooth project execution.
• Project Execution: Oversee the implementation of projects ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve project issues promptly to maintain progress.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Budget and Schedule Control: Manage changes budgets and schedules to ensure projects stay on track.
• Project Estimation: Prepare accurate project estimates to inform budgeting and planning.
• Coordination: Collaborate with subtrades and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Business Development: Contribute to business growth through effective project management and client relations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
• Knowledge of the Canadian Building Code.
• Experience with interior fitups retail and restaurant projects.
• Excellent time management and computer skills.
• Creative problemsolving abilities and adaptability to new concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detailoriented.

Job Type:

Salary:

• $75000.00 $95000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8hour shift

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of Construction Project Management experience required.
