Overview:

Growing Law Firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Sr Paralegal. This is a fulltime position with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with all aspects of legal matters including research drafting legal documents and managing contracts and agreements

Conduct legal research and provide analysis of laws regulations and legal precedent

Draft and review contracts agreements and other legal documents

Manage and maintain contracts database

Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to ensure timely execution of contracts

Assist with due diligence and document preparation for mergers and acquisitions

Support attorneys in litigation matters including document review and preparation for trial

Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company

Train and supervise junior paralegals and legal assistants

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Paralegal Studies or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal preferably in a corporate or law firm setting

Experience with oil and gas industry and/or energy sector preferred

Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures

Excellent research and analytical skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) or similar organization preferred
