Our client Dorado Games is a wellestablished video games studio in Malta and part of Stillfront Group Sweden a stock market listed organisation consisting of over twenty international video game studios from around the world. The companys focus is designing developing and marketing online strategy games for all platforms: Their global strategy hitgame Conflict of Nations: World War 3 is at the centre of their endeavours and constantly being refined and expanded across iOS Android and PC/Steam.

For Dorado Games we are seeking a talented senior frontend developer to be part of their interdisciplinary team developing and adding to their new lineup of online games starting with CONFLICT OF NATIONS: WORLD WAR 3 and other unannounced titles.

Tasks

At Dorado Games you can expect a professional environment utilising a blend of already proven and new technologies with our games frontend being based on HTML5 / SASS / WebGL /JS & TypeScript / VueJS stack deployed to different kinds of platforms like desktop browser Steam iOS and Android.

Responsibilities:

• Developing the frontend for their new game features and properly integrating them with the backend
• Writing and maintaining highquality scalable and maintainable code adhering to international coding standards and best practices
• Writing and maintaining detailed technical design and software documentation
• Collaborating closely with all departments the sister companies external companies and key members to create and deliver an exceptional and involving online game play experience

Requirements

Must Have Skills & Requirements:

• Excellent skills of HTML5/CSS3/SASS JavaScript/TypeScript and VueJS. Experience with other Frontend Frameworks such as React or Angular is also acceptable. (Please provide references of relevant projects).
• 5 years experience
• Ability to develop and implement accurately based on provided UI/UX mockups (based on Figma designs)
• Good problem solving skills and ability to take full responsibility of driving the given tasks forward while communicating with the rest of the team to make sure that everything goes as smooth as possible and adheres to the highest project standards
• Ability to produce highquality well documented and easily extendable code that meets the newest industry standards
• Ability to ask for help and provide the needed help when needed our team relies on an understanding of good teamwork and collaborative effort to deliver on time
• Experience in shipping releasing or live developing on at least one commercial product or game
• Ability to articulate and document technical designs clearly and analytically
• Ability to communicate effectively and objectively in English

• Relocating to Malta if not already based in Malta

Desirable Skills:

• Passion for video games
• Knowledge of multiplayer/PvP/online game development practices
• Familiarity with agile software development and scrumbased working environments

Nice to Have Skills:

• Backend development experience with Java/PHP/MySQL
