Financial Data Analyst Power BI

Title: Financial Data Analyst (Power BI)

Location: Remote

Duration: 1 year

Responsibilities:

• In partnership with key stakeholders lead the development and management of the cyber budget
• Proactive tracking and consolidation of all current and projected expenditures into a multiyear forecast monthly accruals and forecast adjustments variance explanations and QORs
• Serve as primary liaison between cyber IT and FP&A stakeholders ensuring adherence to financial processes and reporting requirements and crossfunctional transparency of cyber financials
• Drive strategic decisionmaking through the proactive identification and communication of budgetary risks and opportunities to key cyber stakeholders
• Implement processes and governance to ensure all purchases are authorized in alignment with forecast within approved spend thresholds and in adherence to organizational sourcing and spend governance processes
• Lead process improvement and simplification initiatives across financial processes and spend visibility
• In partnership with functional teams proactively manage cyber vendor contracts and spend
• Track and coordinate contract renewals tracking and coordination of invoicing and due diligence assurance related to payment and services rendered

Qualifications:

• Education and experience combination from one of the following:
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in finance accounting or other related discipline AND Seven (7) years of experience managing financials for IT system or software products
  • High School Diploma/GED from AND Fourteen (14) years of experience managing financials for IT system or software products
• Seven (7) years of finance/accounting experience in a private public government or military environment
• Five (5) years of IT business operations management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in finance or other related discipline from an accredited institution
• Ability to deal with a complex business model in a global environment
• Ability to play both a strategic and tactical role
• Strong financial acumen ability to translate complex business problems into financial terms
• Creative problem solving ability to work with diverse functional teams to evaluate and address key issues
• Strong business knowledge and strategic thinking mindset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
