Minimum 10 years experience in Vertica and managing several multiterabyte Vertica databases both onprem and cloud.Expert Knowledge of Vertica Architecture Vertica Enterprise and Vertica Eon.Expertise in installing/upgrade and maintaining 50 Vertica environments.5 year experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization in Vertica which includes projections partitionsMaintain Vertica databases and assist with regular OS patching.Troubleshoot and resolve Vertica issues for aggressive SLA needs in production environment.Maintain database services database monitoring and performance tuning and resource managementEnhance and add more tools for automation of manual tasks for DBA activities bash and pythonExperience in working mission critical production environment .Experience in working with database backup and recovery and resolving production database incidents.
