About the role:

As a facilities assistant you will be at the core of our operations and responsible for maintaining the highest cleanliness and safety standards across our warehouse site. Your role is essential in ensuring that all staff work in a safe and hygienic environment regardless of department.

Key responsibilities:

• Warehouse Cleanliness: Sweep mop and sanitise both warehouse areas regularly to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.

• Restroom and Breakout Area Maintenance: Clean and sanitise restrooms and breakout areas to ensure a hygienic environment for all staff.

• Safety Maintenance: Maintain a safe workspace by promptly tidying up and addressing any reported hazards.

• General Housekeeping: Assist in kitchen areas during staff break times ensuring these areas are clean and wellmaintained.

• Departmental Support: Assist various departments as needed to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.

Essential skills and experience:

• Cleaning Experience: Previous experience in general or warehouse cleaning is required.

• Safety Knowledge: Understanding safe practices and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.

• Team Player: Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Adaptability: Ability to handle a fastpaced and dynamic work environment effectively.

• Independence and Accuracy: Demonstrated ability to work independently while following instructions accurately and efficiently.
