Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head of Physics Department to join our team of passionate educators. As the Head of Physics you will lead the department in delivering highquality teaching and learning experiences inspiring students to explore the wonders of physics and nurturing their scientific curiosity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Physics Department with vision enthusiasm and strategic direction.
• Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that align with national standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
• Mentor and support a team of talented physics teachers fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
• Monitor and evaluate teaching standards to ensure consistently high levels of academic achievement and progress.
• Oversee the effective use of resources and facilities within the department promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in Physics or a related field.
• Proven experience as a successful Physics teacher ideally with experience in leadership or management roles within a school setting.
• A deep passion for physics education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning among students.
• Strong leadership communication and organisational skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Uptodate knowledge of curriculum developments and educational best practices in physics.
