Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Software Engineer with a strong focus on frontend development to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to our mission of building a stateoftheart mobile social app. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in JavaScript Ionic Capacitor Firebase and Git. While the role is primarily frontendfocused it encompasses fullstack responsibilities. Leadership abilities selfmotivation and an ability to handle sometimes ambiguous tasks are crucial given our startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain highquality mobile applications using JavaScript Ionic and Capacitor.
  

• Integrate and manage Firebase for backend services and realtime data handling.
  

• Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development.
  

• Work closely with the design team to implement responsive and userfriendly interfaces.
  

• Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of frontend components with serverside logic.
  

• Lead and mentor junior developers providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and productivity.
  

• Engage in the full software development lifecycle including requirement gathering design coding testing and deployment.
  

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  

• Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning estimation and retrospectives.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Preferred: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Statistics or a related STEM field.
  

• 5 years of experience in software engineering with a strong emphasis on frontend development.
  

• Proficiency in JavaScript Ionic Capacitor and VueJS.
  

• Experience with Firebase for backend services.
  

• Solid understanding of Git for version control.
  

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide team members.
  

• Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and handle ambiguous tasks effectively.
  

• Experience with agile/scrum methodologies.
  

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  

• Fluent English both writing and speaking
  

Bonus Qualifications (Not required):

• Experience with native iOS/Android development.
  

• Familiarity with Google Maps API.
  

• Knowledge of DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  

• Understanding of machine learning concepts.
