Project Estimator remote option

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions

Work Setting: remote option

Required:

Availability to work 100% of the time at the Clients site in Juno Beach FL (required);
Experience as a Project Estimator within field engineering and construction management (3 years);
Estimating or construction experience on large heavy civil projects in the power market sector (5 years);
Solar experience;
Valid drivers license.

Preferred:
Experience in renewables;
Bachelors Degree in the following Fields of Study: Engineering Mechanical Engineering Civil Construction Science Construction Management

Responsibilities:
Prepare capital cost estimates;
Review designs and specifications for costeffectiveness and suggest alternatives when appropriate;
Coordinate with other departments ensuring understanding of project objectives and efficient utilization of resources;
Review layouts designs and specifications for costeffectiveness and suggest alternatives when appropriate;
Remain current with technology and industry evolution assuring that capital estimates anticipate the correct market conditions;
Establish build and implement metrics for cost and construction estimate checks;
Mentor and develop junior members of the team;
Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.
