  The company is a solution provider with its own SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellite constellation.

  It constructs and operates a constellation through the development and operation of small SAR satellites generating and providing data. Using proprietary data analysis capabilities Synspective offers datadriven solutions to various global challenges.

  The main business activities include the operation of a satellite constellation through the development manufacturing and launch of small SAR satellites and related systems. This encompasses the sale of acquired data and the development and sale of data analysis solutions.

  Department/Unit

  The Satellite Development System Division 1 is responsible for the development and operation of both the current generation of our radar satellite the StriX series and the development of nextgeneration satellites.

  The SAR RF Unit is a team responsible for radar in the mission section of satellites and handling radio station license applications.

  Responsibilities

  Launching various supports for the current generation SAR satellite and initiating the manufacture of nextgeneration satellites.

  Specifically:

  • Development and manufacturing of SAR RF systems handling radio station license applications
  • Procurement and acceptance of SAR RF components (various devices/parts) including individual and system tests
  • Various space environment tests (to verify RF performance in vibration thermal vacuum tests etc.)
  • Dealing with external outsourcing documentation creation such as specifications for all the above processes
  • Launching the manufacture of nextgeneration SAR RF systems
  • Exploring new suppliers and managing existing ones

Minimum Requirements

• RF
• English

  (1) Fluent or abovelevel English proficiency in daily conversation and businesslevel Japanese proficiency.

  (2) Ability to work at the head office approximately once a week.

  • Examination support available at the Yamato factory or Tsukuba as needed.

  (3) Experience in one of the following:

  • RF equipment development
  • Handson experience with measuring instruments such as network analyzers signal analyzers oscilloscopes signal generators and experience with electromagnetic field simulators.

Annual Salary:JPY

• Based on experience ability and previous work experience
• Personnel evaluation system every 6 months

Hours: Flextime system

• Core time from 11:00 15:00
• 2 days off a week (weekends) including Japanese public holidays
• 10 days of paid time leave granted first year with an increment of 1 day every following year (ex. 11 days in the second year) up to a maximum in accordance with Japans labor laws.

Probation: 3 months
