Job Title: Data Coordinator
Location: Boston MA 02111
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Summary: The Data Coordinator will work under the guidance of the Executive Office of Veterans Services WVN Director. This role involves collecting coordinating executing and maintaining a database focused on women veterans. Supervision and task assignments are provided by the Women Veterans Network Director through conference calls daily contact and performance reviews to ensure effectiveness and compliance with relevant laws regulations and department policies.
Job Duties:
- Update and maintain a database of over 14500 women veterans.
- Conduct thorough research through informational websites workshops public events and other mediums to expand membership in the client network.
- Respond to direct inquiries from women veterans providing information referrals and linkages to supportive services.
- Provide informational updates via email website social networks and newsletters on services programs and events.
- Review and ensure the timely and accurate entry of information into data collection systems.
- Maintain and update the clients Twitter and Facebook sites as well as manage outreach programs through social media.
- Answer questions and inquiries from women veterans currently deployed overseas via social networks regarding benefit information.
- Research and integrate information from other states women veterans sites and similar sources into the client website for appeal and relevancy.
- Explore the potential for blogging client news on the companys sites and other agencies platforms.
- Ensure all outreach team efforts and events are promoted on appropriate websites.
Requirements:
- Dataoriented and techsavvy.
- Comfortable with case management technology.
- Proficiency in Excel and Access software is highly desirable.
