Regional Assistance Financial Controller

We are currently looking for EMEA Regional Assistance Controller for our client aglobal provider of innovative flash memory solutions!

Duration: 46 Months (extension possibility)
Location: Poland
Type: Fulltime 40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist regional controller with month quarter and yearend closing processes
• Maintain complete and accurate financial statements and accounting records for UK Poland Netherlands and other EMEA entities
• Collaborate with 3rd party service providers for statutory and regulatory filings and related audits
• Apply accounting policies and financial reporting requirements to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
• Prepare monthend/quarterend accrual journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations for complex accounting areas including intercompany transactions
• Approve monthend/quarterend accrual journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations prepared by the shared service center
• Field audit requests and prepare financial information for audits by analyzing financial data comparing it to thirdparty information budgets or actual results and researching balance sheet account variances

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
• 7 years of experience in finance and accounting
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail is critical
• Full proficiency in practical application of local GAAP (Poland and UK) and IFRS
• Solid knowledge of the SOX framework and processes
• Working knowledge of statutory filing requirement regulations for Poland and UK
• Experience analyzing large amounts of financial data
• Demonstrated presentation skills with the ability to present financial data clearly and concisely
• Strong MS Word Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience in SAP
• Working knowledge of SarbanesOxley requirements is a plus
• Hitech industry experience preferred
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Polish
