Serious Injury Solicitor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Serious Injury Solicitor to join one of the country leading specialist serious and catastrophic injury solicitors. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of serious injury claims providing expert legal advice and representation to clients who have sustained severe injuries. This role demands a high level of empathy professionalism and legal acumen to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Case Management:
   

   • Handle a varied caseload of serious injury claims including but not limited to catastrophic injuries brain injuries spinal injuries and amputations.
     
   • Conduct thorough investigations gathering and analysing evidence to build strong cases.
     

2. Client Liaison:
   

   • Provide compassionate and clear legal advice to clients keeping them informed of case progress and next steps.
     
   • Develop and maintain strong client relationships ensuring clients feel supported throughout the legal process.
     

3. Legal Documentation:
   

   • Draft review and submit all necessary legal documents including pleadings witness statements and expert reports.
     
   • Ensure all documentation complies with relevant legal standards and regulations.
     

4. Negotiation and Settlement:
   

   • Negotiate settlements with opposing parties aiming to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
     
   • Prepare and represent clients in mediation and settlement discussions.
     

5. Court Representation:
   

   • Represent clients in court preparing and presenting cases effectively.
     
   • Liaise with barristers and other legal professionals as required.
     

6. Compliance and Continuous Improvement:
   

   • Stay updated with changes in personal injury law and relevant case law.
     
   • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
     

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a current practicing certificate.
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience in serious injury and catastrophic injury claims.
  
• Proven track record of managing highvalue complex personal injury cases.
  
• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise advice.
  
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  
• Proficiency in legal research and use of case management systems.
