Fishing Supervisor

In this role you will supervise and coordinate all fishing and thrutubing operations ensuring safe and efficient execution overseeing the assembly installation and maintenance of downhole tools and equipment and providing technical support to the field team. Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all fishing and thrutubing operations in oil and gas wells.

• Ensure safe and efficient execution of fishing operations including the use of downhole tools and equipment.
• Oversee the assembly installation and maintenance of all downhole tools and equipment required for fishing operations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the field team during operations ensuring adherence to safety and operational procedures.
• Develop and implement fishing operation plans including contingency plans for unexpected downhole conditions.
• Monitor and report on the progress of fishing operations maintaining detailed records and logs.
• Conduct postoperation reviews and generate detailed reports on the outcomes and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with engineering and field teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.

Technical Background:

• Extensive knowledge of fishing and thrutubing operations in oil and gas wells.
• Proficient in the use of downhole tools and equipment used in fishing operations.
• Experience with highpressure hightemperature (HPHT) environments and deep well operations.
• Strong understanding of wellbore conditions and challenges related to fishing operations.
• Ability to interpret and apply technical manuals and documentation related to fishing tools and equipment.
• Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting downhole issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in oil and gas well operations with at least 5 years dedicated to fishing operations. For candidates with a graduate degree a minimum of 5 years of experience with at least 3 years in fishing operations.
• Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising fishing operations including planning execution and postoperation analysis.
• Proficient in using software and tools related to fishing operations and data analysis.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite at various field locations as required.
• Valid certifications in well control and safety training preferred.
