Projects Development Engineer Oil amp Gas Industry

Jadeer is hiring on behalf of one of our global clients in Egypt our client is one of the leading companies in the Oil & Gas industry globally.

Job Title: Projects Development Engineer.

Scope:

Project development identifies and researches new business opportunities. By looking at emerging technology trends and growth areas to generate revenue improve profitability and help the business grow.

Job Purpose:

leading the development of renewable energy projects from conception and technocommercial feasibility through to completion this role requires a deep understanding of renewable energy technologies regulatory environments and project financing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy project management excellent stakeholder management skills and a passion for sustainable development.

Responsibilities:

• Research and Development of new technologies and energy global trends converting them into a viable business case.
• Develop comprehensive project plans for renewable energy projects including wind solar green hydrogen wastetoenergy and other sustainable technologies.
• Oversee the development of projects ensuring alignment with project plans timelines and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies community groups advisors and contractors.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project development status.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate the suitability of locations for renewable energy projects.
• Prepare feasibility studies and make recommendations based on findings.
• Coordinate with engineering environmental investment and construction teams to ensure resource allocation aligns with project needs.
• Ensure projects comply with local and global regulations and standards.
• Monitor regulatory changes and adjust project plans accordingly.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to manage them.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering.
• A Masters degree in Renewable Energy and/or chemical engineering is preferred.
• PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
• Green hydrogen certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 46 years of experience in renewable energy project development with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Green Hydrogen project development is a plus.
• English Proficiency; Fluent (Read Written and Spoken).
• Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
• Highquality communication and presentation skills.
• Be proactive and organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments.
• Excellent Computer and technology skills.

Working Conditions:

• Working Hours: 95 (SunThursday).
• Working Model: Onsite.
• Work Location: Maadi.
