As a Sales Support Specialist you will be crucial in supporting our sales team by managing inbound and outbound leads assisting with sales materials and presentations and maintaining supplier relationships. Your main duties will include: Duties and responsibilities:
- Call and email to validate inbound leads.
- Gather specifications/details to generate accurate quotes.
- Create and send quotes.
- Follow up on leads and uncover key decisionmakers.
- Assign validated leads to respective market sectors.
- Notify about received or incoming purchase orders.
- Document all aspects of the sales cycle in a CRM.
- Present quotes to customers.
- Assist in creating and maintaining sales materials (slideshows case studies etc.).
- Inquire about lead times and pricing for quotes.
- Update the sales team on supplier lead time and pricing changes.
- Assist in including new components in the accounting system.
- Develop a strong rapport with customers and the sales team.
- Grasp and relay product knowledge to achieve sales.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum Associate Degree or 3 years of equivalent work experience in sales and marketing.
- 2 years in customer service or inside sales preferably in an industrial environment.
- Experience with CRM systems and relevant tools.
- Technical background with electrical and/or mechanical products is a plus.
- Sales experience in the oil and gas industry is essential.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Aptitude for problemsolving and generating creative solutions.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and suppliers.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow policies and procedures.
- Independence and autonomy in managing tasks.
- Effective interaction with senior management and crossfunctional leaders.
