Overview:

In business since 1987 Client provides Managed Workplace Services including IT solutions and hardware and software resale integration and support services and has numerous partnerships within the technology space such as HP IBM Cisco Dell Apple Inc Jamf Pro AirWatch and Microsoft.
Position: Command Centre Tech
Location: Scarborough ON M1W 3E8
Duration: 9 Months

Job Description:
- The Command Center will operate under client direction.
- Based on preapproved list of users to be upgraded initiate final integration and /or initiate in place upgrade after the Deployment Technician contacts the Command Center
- Track all issues related to building.
- Troubleshoot failing migrations.
- Escalate if necessary if rollback procedures may be warranted (based on clientprovided criteria)
- Execute rollback procedures if necessary
- Report on the status of the entire conversion night.
Knowledge and Skills
- 57 years of work experience in IT environment and/or degree in computer science engineering information systems math or business
- Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop platform and associated infrastructure
- Familiarity and troubleshooting desktop platform network and application issues
- Thorough understanding of network and domain technologies including DHCP DNS Active Directory
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize multiple competing deliverables
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good interpersonal skills when interacting with clients and coworkers
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Influencing skills
- Data driven decision making
- Knowledge of financial services industry and branch environment would be an asset
