Key Account Manager KSA

Position location: RIYADH

Summary / purpose of the position

To achievement of IPSEN business goals by implementing benefitbased programs with designated Key Account customers; to be responsible for the achievement of KAM & BU targets on assigned accounts; to establish IPSEN as the preferred partner of choice with assigned Key Accounts; to support the creation of a customercentric approach.

Main responsibilities / job expectations

  • Identifying and managing interactions with assigned group of customers to identify business opportunities.

  • Builds and maintains effective longterm external relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key seniorlevel decision makers and influencers at a select group of major customer accounts.
  • Works with a defined set of customers typically within a geographic or industry focus to meet revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per customer and by identifying developing and closing new sales opportunities.
  • Creates demand for the organizations products and services by raising their profile with customers.
  • Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with the customers senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organizations product/service strategies.

Knowledge abilities & experience

Education / Experience :

  • Pharmacist Degree or other relevant Scientific education
  • Dependant on individual aptitude but would normally expect at least 3 years experience of a broad range of work in the ethical Pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven record in crossfunctional work
  • Sound understanding/command of KSA pharmaceutical business
  • Strong local network with relevant HC stake holders

Languages:

  • Arabic & English

Key Technical Competencies Required

  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the disease area Ipsens products and relevant competitor products
  • Excellent organization implementation budgetary and project management abilities.
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate with customers internal and external contacts at all levels and excellent organizational written and verbal skills.
  • Expert key account management skills including strong performance business analytics planning and numerical skills and an ability to manage complex situations and make excellent decisions execute plans and achieve outcomes.
