- Ensures that all design deliverables are in accordance with clients requirements the project QHSE plan and TechnipFMC processes as well as drawing standards.
- To create Solid Models and 2D drawings for the following as required by a project:
- Conceptual Design Layouts from inception of design (from freehand sketch/verbal instruction marked up layouts) for Quotes Concept Research & Development and System Engineering Phase of project.
- Create detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing
- Highlight task Alterations to Designer and Design Engineers.
- To ensure Unigraphics Features comply with TFMC and Industry Standards e.g. American Petroleum Institute (API) American National Standard Institute (ANSI).
- Checking of interfaces/interferences between components.
- Full understanding of electronic data management system to be able to generate Engineering Change Notices and Database Information Sheets and issue it
- Creates and reviews running procedures (document ownership).
- Creates midlevel engineering calculations. Proficient in applying mechanical engineering design principles.
- Professional certification / Technical diploma or equivalent (mechanical engineering preferred)
- CAD drafting training in a technical trade institution or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years experience as a draughtsman within TFMC engineering or equivalent experience in similar industry.
- Intermediate knowledge of drafting design testing standards and tools
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities and solve problems
- Ability to work in a teamoriented and diverse cultural environment
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge with wellhead product lines oilfield environment preferred
