Overview

As a Hotel Sales professional you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and business growth for the hotel. Your primary responsibility will be to generate and maintain significant levels of business from various market segments such as corporate travel agencies and events. You will act as the point of contact for clients providing them with exceptional service and solutions to meet their needs. Your work will directly impact the hotels financial success and reputation within the industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build a strong client base through proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends potential clients and competitive activities.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients ensuring that all terms and conditions are met.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and sales collateral.
  • Provide excellent customer service to existing and potential clients addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of client events and group bookings.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends market activities and competitors strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
  • Participate in trade shows sales events and industry networking opportunities to promote the hotel and its services.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Proven experience in hotel sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Sound understanding of the hospitality industry market trends and customer expectations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other salesrelated tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings industry events and trade shows as needed.
  • Professional demeanor and strong business acumen.
